If you're looking for a stunning and remote location to elope, Joshua Tree is the perfect place! With its dramatic landscape and rustic charm, Joshua Tree is a popular destination for elopements and small weddings. Did I mention the desert has an enticing after-rain smell? It’s true! Sometimes it’s all about those little things. Here I’ll discuss just a few of the many locations in Joshua Tree, as well as some of the most beautiful locations for an elopement. Let's get started!
The best time to elope in Joshua Tree is during the spring or fall months, when the weather is mild and the landscape is at its most beautiful. Springtime temperatures in Joshua Tree range from 50-70 degrees Fahrenheit, with occasional rain showers. Fall temperatures are slightly cooler, ranging from 40-60 degrees Fahrenheit.
Remember that desert weather can be unpredictable so we will plan accordingly. If you forget something, that’s what I’m here for; to be prepared and assist in your day going as smoothly as possible. With that being said, no matter what the weather is like, we will make it epic! It’s your day and all about your connection while we create an amazing experience.
What’s Included? Currently I offer a full day elopement package that allows for up to 12 hour coverage. Not only will this package provide us with enough time to capture you in the location you desire, but will also allow me showcase things like getting photos, writing vows, for example, and allowing me to be behind the scenes and tell your story.
THIS PACKAGE INCLUDES:
All collections include a complimentary consultation to discuss your vision for your elopement photos.
Getting down and dirty, we need to get real for a second. Before you can elope in Joshua Tree, we will need to obtain a permit from the National Park Service. Joshua Tree National Park does charge per car, so if you can carpool this will ensure a cheaper way for everyone to enter the park. You can apply for a permit online or in person at the Joshua Tree Visitor Center. Once you have your permit, I can assist you in planning for further licenses and fees. Fees vary depending on your needs so here’s an additional link to help us get an idea.

A hiker friendly 0.4 mile loop that features Joshua trees which seem to symmetrically line the trail as well as offers further boulders that are popular for rock climbers.
The ultimate location is the Keys View, containing an epic spot for photos as it overlooks the Bermuda Dunes while getting a glimpse of the San Bernardino Mountains in the distance. You can hike the Inspiration Trail at 1.9 miles and is moderately challenging, but the view is worth it!
